About Dr. McClafferty
Dr. Hilary McClafferty is one of only 350 board certified physician graduates of the Fellowship in Integrative Medicine directed by Dr. Andrew Weil. This two-year program is the only academic training program of its kind in the world and is internationally recognized for excellence.
Dr. McClafferty has had a rich and varied medical career, and is passionate about helping people attain their very best health. She sees the great potential of bringing evidence based integrative medicine therapies into the mainstream of medical care, and stays current on the rapid developments in this emerging field.
She works on a national level with the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Integrative Medicine to educate and teach other physicians about integrative medicine, and has published book chapters and journal articles on a variety of topics. She has been interviewed for the national Parent and Baby Talk magazines, and has appeared on national television discussing her views on integrative medicine.
In addition to her fellowship training in integrative medicine, she is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine, and trained in Clinical Hypnosis and Reiki. She enjoys using all of her skills to help people meet medical challenges successfully.
Although primarily trained in pediatrics, her integrative fellowship allowed her to expand her practice to include adults if they maintain a concurrent primary care physician. She enjoys working with people of all ages.
